Just what the world needs..another celebrity fragrance. Is it just me or does David & Victoria Beckham seem as if their sole purpose of coming to America was to hock their mediocre business ventures off on us? When will enough be enough for these two? Isn’t David like one of the richest athletes on Earth? Gawd these two are transparent. This seems to be all these two can do to keep Posh in the spotlight, create some new product line together and try to convince the world how hot of a couple they really are.

To me, David is the only hottie in this marriage but I must say that Posh is quite the fashionista and I generally like the edgy fashion sense she seems to embrace. This stinky Eau de Beckham can be found in Macy’s, online, or here at their official site. Check out the so called “sultry” entrance video clip introduction of these two on the site or scroll down and watch it here. The best part about this clip is that in many of the camera angles you see the front of David’s sexy face and mostly the back & side profile of Victoria’s head. Something tells me these two just signed their name off on whatever the perfume manufacturer threw together…..Spray On At Your Own Risk!

Secret #1: Do what your mom always told you to do. “Sun protection is essential for nice skin. If you smoke, quit. Eat blueberries and other fruits with rich color, which are full of antioxidants. Deep red, yellow and green vegetables are also good. Despite the warnings about mercury and other contaminants, I think fish, with its oils, is very healthy. Stay hydrated. Don’t overdo alcohol and caffeine. And, yes, get enough sleep. Most of us do not.”

Secret #2: Don’t have model envy: A slim bod doesn’t necessarily mean it’s cellulite-free. “Cellulite is caused when little bits of fatty tissue push through the fibrous connective-tissue lattice that is part of the normal structure of our [skin],” says Dr. Gordon. “The fatty tissue itself is soft, and the fibrous connective tissue is tough. So you can think of it as the soft fat popping through the open spaces between the strands of fibrous tissue. No matter the body shape, even little bits of fat can push their way through.” Long story short: Fatty tissue—aka cellulite—can show up on all shapes and sizes, even Gisele-like frames.

Secret #3: Skip the salsa and chips; avoiding salty foods and other water-retention traps can help decrease the appearance of cellulite. “If you retain fluids, you may feel your cellulite is worse than if you don’t,” says Dr. Gordon. “The more fat there is and the boggier that soft fat is, the more likely it is to push through the connective tissue”—and show up as cellulite. Let’s hear it for low-sodium soy sauce!

Secret #4: Seek out a sweet exfoliator. “Harsh exfoliators may chafe the skin,” says Gordon. “I like a sugar scrub because it dissolves as you use it. For this reason, it’s hard to over-exfoliate with a well-made sugar scrub.” Check out the new soft, body-friendly line of St. Ives Moisturizing In-Shower Exfoliating Body Polishes.

Secret #5: Give your body H20 from head to toe. When you’re in the bath or shower, make good use of your awesome new exfoliator or body polish. After toweling off, apply a rich moisturizer while the skin is still damp.

Secret #6: Keep in mind that fancy-schmancy moisturizers may not be more effective. “These days a lot of high-tech engineering goes into the development of moisturizers. While moisturizing ingredients such as shea butter are good to look for, it’s not easy to identify the good—or bad—moisturizers by looking at ingredients alone,” advises Gordon, who recommends looking for a name you trust and price point you will feel comfortable using every day. “Ultimately, it is the daily use of a moisturizer that makes it effective,” she says.

Secret #7: Look for ingredients found in your favorite liquids. Green tea, which contains restorative antioxidants, can be found in many helpful skin-smoothing products, as can caffeine. “It’s just conjecture on my part,” says Dr. Gordon, “but it may be that caffeine constricts the tiny vessels in the skin and the slight local ‘dehydration’ that results prevents the fat from poking through.”

Secret #8: Slap on the SPF, even on non-beach days. “A lot of people don’t think they are getting sun unless they are lying on the beach,” says Dr. Gordon. “Many people look at me funny when I tell them that your skin doesn’t care if you get sun lying down or walking around.”

I came across this video clip that featured 3 very short segments on beauty and style clips, and the first segment featured an amazing little boy who just happens to be a fashion prodigy. Meet 7 year old Geordy, the fashion wonder boy, as he styles models with designing legend Isaac Mizrahi. Watching Issac and this little boy together bouncing off ideas from each other was very cute and actually quite cool. After seeing that segment I realized 2 things that were very obvious, 1.) There is no way in hell that kid is gonna end up being straight , it’s clear already (which is fine) and 2.) He is going to be a HUGE star in the fashion industry when he gets older. As for the other clips? I could care less about the other 2 clips because the segment with Geordy is all I cared about. Enjoy!

New York - French lingerie brand Chantelle wants to spread the notion of something that French women seem to instinctively know - a good bra with the right fit empowers a women’s sense of femininity, and that equals more confidence.

To help raise the profile of the company, last year they signed on supermodel Stephanie Seymour as the face of the brand. Her curves are well known: Seymour was once a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model as well as a model for Victoria’s Secret.

“Put the right undergarment on and you are transformed,” said Seymour at a luncheon on Friday, April 18, in New York to celebrate the new Chantelle ad campaign shot by Peter Lindbergh.

Seymour, adjusting a pair of reading glasses, (”I’m no librarian,” joked Seymour) spoke to a group of editors about her own transformative experience with Chantelle.

“The first time I put a corset on, I was really impressed with my waist and my bust,” said Seymour. “In my twenties, I didn’t really wear too many bras……I always had a difficult time finding one, because I’m tiny but busty.”

But the fit technology of Chantelle impressed Seymour. “I was wearing Chantelle before they even considered using me,” she said.

Chantelle CEO Patrice Kretz said the emphasis for the brand in the coming year would be on the enlargement of their their product range to include more exclusive and luxurious fashion-forward styles. At the core of the brand are the bras, he said, but they are making them “more fun and more seductive” said Kretz.

Lace and a diverse selection of colors have been key to Chantelle’s success in France, while in the U.S. 50 percent of their sales are in more basic styles. Kretz said that for the U.S. market, they have developed styles that bridge functionality with fashion - smooth cups, practical for t-shirt wearing - but with a hint of seductiveness in the form of a lacy back.

For women just beginning to embrace lingerie as a fashion statement and the concept of buying good foundations, Seymour had this to say.

“Why did women seem more sexy in the ’50s and the ’60s? It’s because they wore great bras and they had a good shape,” said Seymour. “They may have suffered a bit then, but today we can have all of that but in something that is soft, modern and comfortable.”

“A lot of women think that wearing a bra ages you, but it doesn’t age you,” she continued. “It just makes you look sexy.”

The Triumph Luxurious Diamond Thong had 518 brilliant-cut diamonds, totaling 30 carats, studded into the front of a black lace thong in a floral pattern. The skimpy underwear that left little to the imagination also had 27 white gold tassels hanging off it.

Danielle Luminita, a brunette model from Romania, was carried down the runway on the shoulders of two male models wearing only the diamond thong.

“It is very comfortable, it’s not heavy or scratchy or anything,” Luminita told Reuters backstage.

A spokeswoman for Triumph International, the lingerie company that commissioned the thong, said that the thong would be dry cleaned before going on display.

“It’s a signature piece, obviously we aren’t going to sell it,” she said.

This is the gayest makeup ad I have ever seen and I love it! Love it! Love it! Heatherette is a fashion company and design house run by Traver Rains and Richie Rich. It is located in New York City. It owes its roots to the designer, Richie Rich’s, status as a “Club Kid” in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

I’ve always been a freak for their clothes and now this killer new M.A.C. makeup line they just released is giving me nightmares because my so called budget for things like food and gas is now ruined. I looked for hours trying to find a way to get a hold of that stunning new shade of “lipglass” it’s called Minx but it’s totally sold out on the M.A.C site..oh it would be soooo perfect on my lips. I’m also loving the Starlet Kiss and Sock Hop lipgloss too.

M.A.C has always had some of the best eyeliner in my opinion. Unlike most store bought eyeliner I love how rich and colorful the colors look on my lids. I have a tube of M.A.C Blue Pigment Eyeshadow Color Powder that I purchased over 3 years ago at the MAC store in Macy’s in NYC. I have used it as an eyeliner, eyeshadow, and even lipstick on special occasions that call for blue lips, lol. It’s been used at least 100 times and look, it’s still looks full and practically new. This is what makes M.A.C so worth the little extra money you have so spend for it. All I ever need was just a little and it went such a long way.

Sometimes looking good is just as much about what you don’t do as what you do. But if you chew on your cuticles or use a hair dryer every day, it’s time to hit the confessional. You’re committing a beauty sin!

Who among us has not committed at least one of these? Now is the time to repent!

Beauty Sin No. 1: Chewing on Your Cuticles

It may seem like just a little nibble, but torn cuticles lead to hangnails and that can lead to an infection. Jessica Vartoughian, owner of Jessica Nail Clinic in Los Angeles, told Cosmo the trick is to keep the skin around the nails moisturized. She recommends rubbing a thick cream or oil onto your cuticles daily and massaging them with an exfoliator every few days.

Beauty Sin No. 2: Changing Your Hair Color Too Frequently

It’s fine to change your hair color or tint occasionally, but if you dye your hair too often, it will make the strands weak — not to mention the identity crisis you’ll get when you go from blonde to red to brunette in a matter of weeks. Pantene celebrity colorist Rita Hazan told Cosmopolitan that darker shades are less damaging to your hair since you aren’t stripping away natural pigment. A permanent dye can be used safely once every four weeks, while an ammonia-free, semi-permanent formula can be used once every three weeks. Just remember to get an excellent conditioner and use it frequently!

Beauty Sin No. 3: Going To Bed Without First Washing Your Face

Falling asleep with eye makeup on does not only give you puffy bags when you awaken, can also lead to infection. New York City dermatologist Patricia Wexler says layers of foundation, concealer and blush clog up your pores and keep your skin from breathing. Even if you don’t wear makeup, you still need to wash your face before bed to rid it of oil and dirt. Here’s an idea: Use pre-moistened face wipes.

Beauty Sin No. 4: Getting a Fake Tan

Do we even have to say it? Those ultraviolet-A rays that are emitted primarily from tanning-bed bulbs are also known as “aging rays.” They will actually penetrate connective tissue, which leads to premature aging. And if that’s not enough, UVA rays have also been linked to skin cancer. Just get your tan from a bottle. It’s safe… and believable.

Beauty Sin No. 5: Using Too Much Heat On Your Hair

Put down the hair dryer, curling iron and flatiron now and no one will get hurt. These instruments of hair torture will not only dry out your hair, but also leave it dull, frizzy and weak. Joico artist Anthony Morrison, owner of the Londoner Salon in Los Angeles, told Cosmo you should use a medium heat and speed setting when drying your hair and keep the nozzle a few inches away from your head. When using a flatiron, slide it quickly down your hair, and release the curling iron after five seconds. Protect your hair with a moisturizing shampoo and heat protector spray.

Beauty Sin No. 6: Reprehensibly Dark Lip Liner

If friends are asking you how you enjoyed your hot cocoa and you didn’t have hot cocoa, you’re probably wearing lip liner that’s too dark. Stop it. You look silly. Go find a lip pencil that matches your lip color.

Beauty Sin No. 7: Appallingly Squeezing Your Zits

Bicoastal dermatologist Karyn Grossman explains that picking pimples not only pushes the bad stuff out of your skin, it also pushes it in deeper, resulting in prolonged redness and increased risk of scarring. She recommends using one-percent hydrocortisone on a pimple three times a day for up to five days to decrease inflammation.

Beauty Sin No. 8: Dreadfully Dramatic Contouring

Using deep contour shades to give the illusion of a sculpted nose or a sharper cheekbone looks divine on the pages of fashion magazines where choreographed lighting diffuses the gradations of tone. But in real life, you’ve got to blend those contour shades to near invisibility. That or look like a human outline.

Beauty Sin No. 9: Spidery Eyelashes (over clumping)

Eyelashes are a fine and delicate feature, so honor them as such by using mascara only to subtly enhance. If your impulse is to over-apply, you’re going to have to teach yourself to hold back. Spidery, clumped-up, wild-looking lashes are only attractive to other spiders.

Beauty Sin No. 10: Reckless Vibrancy

If you fancy vibrant cheeks, keep your lips understated. If, on the other hand, you’re aching for vivacious lips, cool it with the blush. It’s the difference between appearing sophisticated and clownish.
