Huge news, dolls: The December Glamour is almost here–it’s our annual Women of the Year issue and it hits newsstands November 8!–and we’ve got your glimpse into all of the empowering, star-studded, super-juicy stuff inside, starting with our cover star. Jennifer Lopez has the honor, and she’s dishing on everything from her new Kohl’s line to her love life. Read all about it, plus see what she’s wearing and snag STF’s version of the look for less!
On what she’s learned about love and relationships:
“I think I’ve finally learned the biggest lesson of all. You’ve got to love yourself first. You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else. You’ve got to value yourself and know that you’re worth everything. And until you value yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that, you can’t really have a healthy relationship.â€
On the possibility of a new relationship out of the public eye:
“I think to give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye. You know the media—they want to rush everything.â€
On her style:
“The things I liked when I was, like, 16 and in the Bronx – jeans, cut-up T-shirts – I still like. But I’ve been exposed to so much now from traveling the world and seeing couture clothes. I used all of that when I created my new line for Kohl’s [read more about that in our exclusive STF interview!]. My style has come from everything, from where I started to where I am today.â€

The nautical trend is having a major moment this fall and Jennifer’s giving it a super-sultry new spin in these photos. A sailor-style pants has brass button details that feel totally polished, but the slim silhouette and sexy top give it a fresh feel, especially thanks to that pop of red. The whole thing is topped off with anchor-adorned jewelry and chains that would look as chic on a yacht as they would the city streets.
