Remember the Rachel haircut from the 90′s? Many women started cutting their hair the same way and a hair trend was born. Nowadays, with the help of lace front wigs, weaves, and hair pieces pop stars and regular folk alike can acheive any look they desire within minutes. Like I’ve stated in a former post Beyonce takes full advantage of lace front wigs, but she never seems to shy away from hair that’s long and divaesque. It seems as though Beyonce is to be afraid to take chances with fresh new cuts, and sleeker, more stylish hair.
That’s why I love to see the amazing transformations Rihanna seems to make with her hair on almost a bi-monthly basis. Whether she’s sporting a spikey, punkish east village coif, sleek, long bangs with a chin length bob, glamorous ringlets spiraling down to her back, or coloring her hair from light brown to blue back, Rihanna’s stylish hair is light years beyond the huge weaves and over the top wigs that many like Beyonce still try to pass off as hip.
